Refund Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026 · Operated by KwikCall AI LLC
OTP Route is a prepaid, pay-as-you-go service with no plans, no subscription and no monthly account fee. You fund a US-dollar wallet and charges for activations, dedicated numbers, messaging and calling are debited from it. This Refund Policy explains when amounts are returned to your wallet automatically, when you can request a refund to your original payment method, and what cannot be refunded. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Activation refunds (automatic)
When you order a temporary verification number, the current price for that service and country is debited from your wallet. You only pay if the code arrives. The activation then follows one of these outcomes:
- Code received — an SMS arrives during the activation window. The activation is consumed and the charge is final.
- Expired — no SMS arrives before the window (typically about 20 minutes) closes. The full price is refunded to your wallet automatically.
- Cancelled — you cancel a pending activation after the short provider cooldown. The full price is refunded to your wallet automatically.
- Failed to order — the upstream route cannot issue a number after your wallet was debited. The full price is refunded immediately.
Each activation is refunded at most once, and every refund appears as a separate entry in your wallet ledger. You do not need to contact support for these refunds. If a code is delivered but the third-party service later rejects it, or you no longer need it, the activation is not refundable, because the number was successfully used to receive a message.
If you believe a code shown to you is incorrect or incomplete, contact support promptly with the activation ID. We will review the activation and, where the fault lies with our platform, credit your wallet.
2. Dedicated numbers
Dedicated US and Canada numbers are rented for prepaid terms. The term price shown in the dashboard is debited from your wallet when the number is provisioned to your account.
- Term fees are not refunded once a term has started, including when you release the number before the end of its term.
- If a number cannot be provisioned after your wallet has been debited, the full term price is refunded to your wallet.
- Renewals are collected from your wallet 24 hours before the term ends when auto-renew is enabled. To avoid a renewal charge, turn off auto-renew or release the number before the renewal is collected. Collected renewals are non-refundable.
- If a renewal cannot be collected by the end of the term, the number is released and no renewal is charged.
3. SMS and calling
Outbound SMS on dedicated numbers is charged per segment and outbound browser calls are charged per minute, from your wallet at the rates shown in the dashboard. If an outbound SMS fails to send at the time of submission, its charge is refunded to your wallet automatically. Charges for messages that were accepted for delivery and for completed calls are final, because delivery to the recipient's handset depends on carriers outside our control.
4. No subscription fees
OTP Route has no plans, subscriptions or monthly account fees, so there are no plan fees to refund. Every account is pay as you go: you are charged only for the activations, dedicated numbers, messages and calls you use.
5. Wallet balance
Wallet credit is denominated in US dollars, may only be used to pay for OTP Route services, is non-transferable between accounts, and is not redeemable for cash, except where required by law. Wallet balances do not earn interest.
6. Card top-ups
If you topped up by card and have not used the balance, you may request a refund of the unused portion within 30 days of the top-up. Approved refunds are made to the original card only, and approval is at our discretion — for example, we may decline requests that appear connected to abuse, chargeback risk or repeated top-up and refund cycles. Amounts spent on activations, numbers, messaging or calls, and any bonus or coupon credit, are not eligible. Processing times for card refunds depend on your card issuer and typically take several business days to appear.
7. Crypto deposits
Stablecoin top-ups (USDT or USDC) are credited only when the exact amount displayed at checkout is sent on the selected network to the address shown, before the payment request expires. Because blockchain transfers are irreversible and we match deposits by amount and network:
- Transfers of a different amount, on a different network, to a different address, or after the payment request has expired cannot be credited automatically. In most cases, they cannot be recovered or returned.
- If you believe a deposit was sent correctly but has not been credited, contact support with the transaction hash, network and amount. We will investigate in good faith.
- Crypto top-ups that have been credited are not refundable to a wallet address, except where required by law.
Network fees charged by your wallet or exchange are your responsibility and are never refunded.
8. Coupons and bonuses
Coupons apply automatically at checkout when eligible. Coupon and bonus credit has no cash value, cannot be refunded or transferred, and is removed if the related top-up is refunded or disputed.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank — most issues can be resolved quickly. If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened, the account will be locked while it is investigated, credit linked to the disputed payment may be reversed, and the account may be closed. Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to the payment processor.
10. Closed or terminated accounts
If you close your account, you may request a refund of any unused card top-up balance in line with section 6. If we terminate an account for a breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, remaining wallet credit may be withheld to the extent permitted by law.
11. How to request a refund
For any refund that is not automatic, email [email protected] from the address registered on your account and include:
- the relevant activation, number, invoice or payment reference;
- the amount and date of the charge or top-up;
- for crypto deposits, the transaction hash and network;
- a short description of the issue.
We reply within one business day and aim to resolve most requests within a few business days. Nothing in this policy affects rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
12. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of a charge applies to that charge. We will post updates here and change the "Last updated" date.
